Richmond, VA – October 27, 2008 – Gastrocor, a division of Bostwick Laboratories®, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Steven Lawhorn, M.D., as Medical Director based in Uniondale, New York.
Dr. Lawhorn is a veteran board-certified gastrointestinal pathologist who received his M.D. from Loma Linda University in California. He has almost two decades of experience, including Medical Director of the Histopathology Section of Walter Reed Army Medical Center and, most recently, as Staff Pathologist with LabCorp/DIANON™.
In joining Gastrocor and Bostwick Laboratories, Dr. Lawhorn reunites with former LabCorp/DIANON physician colleagues, including Drs. Hillel Kahane, Jing Liu, Barbara Russo, Leo Lu, Nilofar Ali, Richard K. Cochran, and Vernon Sylvest. “We are honored to have Dr. Lawhorn as a member of our veteran staff.
